My Content Career Path:

Ever since I can remember, I have had a strong passion for content creation. Whether is be hosting fake TV shows in my basement with my neighbors growing up or making music videos with a green screen and my iPad all throughout middle school, the dream never died. I have always been the friend who was told to bring her camera on every adventure, the friend who is asked about advice for what picture fits their instagram feed the best, and the friend who constantly wants to make TikToks or videos doing whatever ideas come to mind. My content career path has been ever changing. In High School, I started making adventurous content with my friends and spent most of my small town summers down the shore with a camera always at the ready. I entered in a video contest for SunBum and ended up winning an honorable mention which will forever be one of my favorite memories as it truly was a passion project for me that turned into something greater. Once I got to college, I switched gears to turning my videography/photography knowledge into managing Social Media accounts. I interned with my school’s social media my freshman year after a member of their social media wrote an article about a video I created about diversity and inclusion. Ever since then, I fell even more in love with content creation. I landed a job managing Victoria Garrick’s Podcast Instagram @RealPod and made graphics, reels, captions, and learned a lot about analytics and how to grow an account. While doing this, I also ran my college’s Basketball Team’s Instagram, shooting video/photo for them and posting weekly. I gained more insight in the content world interning with ABC my senior year of college editing videos for the NFL, Olympics, PGA, NBA, MLB, and NHL. After college, I worked for a studio in Manhattan/New Jersey where I got to experience a full circle of content creation working on set for ESPN, shooting and editing TikToks/Reels, including a Reel for Peloton Trainer Emma Lovewell’s Book Launch, shooting/editing all videos for the app Parthean, and shooting/editing wedding videos.

Sports Media

My professional content creation journey began with Sports Media. Throughout college at Montclair State I had the opportunity to work with our school’s Sports Network writing, shooting, and editing feature pieces about Student Athletes.

I gained experience working on set for the Heisman Trophy, filming and editing content for ESPN, and interning with ABC to edit footage from the Olympics, NFL, NHL, PGA, MLB, and NBA.

Bringing the stories of athletes to life…

Sports Feature Films

Brennan Ray - Mental Health Matters

A Feature Film I shot and edited profiling Montclair State Student Athlete Brennan Ray. Mental Health is often times shoved under the rug and not recognized for athletes. Mental Health is an extremely important topic to me and one that should be recognized more. Ray had opened up a lot about his mental health journey while being an athlete and I truly believe these stories need to be told.

Julia Sutton - You Never Think it Can Happen to You

Unfortunately, injuries are a common downfall that can happen in sports. In this feature film, Julia Sutton discusses her journey facing a career altering injury, resulting in Sutton being forced to watch her team and favorite game of basketball from the sideline.

Reagan Rust - Mightier

Mental Health advocate and women’s national hockey player, Reagan Rust opens up about her mental health journey and her pregame rituals to center herself. Rust is a social media influencer who is passionate about content creation, hockey, and mental health. Her fans are continuously inspired by her story and determination both on and off the ice.

Home is where the Heart is...

The field, the court, the track, the pool… it all means something deeper to the athlete showing up day in and day out. Perhaps it is a place where athletes feel safe or a place where they feel understood. For some athletes, their home IS the place they train, sweat, compete, and grow. This piece features the places those athletes call their home away from home.

Corporate & Commercial Work.

Gaining experience and knowledge in a studio setting, I’ve had the opportunity to shoot and edit a lot of corporate events and projects. Two of my favorites were the book launch of Peloton Trainer Emma Lovewell and a commercial for the Financial Education App, Parthean, of which I was a part of the production team.

Travel Content.

Traveling is one of my biggest passions and favorite moments to capture on film. I love preserving the memories and looking back on experiences and places that will forever shape me.
